Simon James, AKA Woolfy, first made his mark under the Woolfy vs Projections alias, receiving rave reviews for the signature low slung balearic meets cosmic grooves LP “The Astral Projections of Starlight” fed to disco freaks worldwide by taste-making German powerhouse label Permanent Vacation. The LP was on high rotation amongst peers such as Jazzanova, Rub & Tug, James Murphy, Aeroplane & Todd Terje, with Fader marking Woolfy as one of our time’s most underrated disco wizards.
